I first got a glimpse at the Loyola University Information Commons in the alumni magazine. I was blown away by its use of space and technology. According to http://www.luc.edu/ic/, it is a joint project of the University Libraries and Information Technology Services. It offers spaces for students to collaborate,, team learn, a high-speed Internet connection, and comfortable spaces for serious work, reading and relaxation.
