Don’t Visit When George’s Helicopter Is Landing

Schu and Akgal just wanted a picture of the White House.  Pretty simple, huh?  Absolutely not.  As we approached 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue we found everything closed off.  Streets, sidewalks, you name it.  We overhead a police officer telling a tourist that they sometimes have to do that and then heard a helicopter approach and saw it land on the grounds of the White House.  Shortly after landing it took off, gates were opened, and people were once again allowed to be in front of the White House.  We could only guess who had gotten in the helicopter.  Once again, Schu and Akgal had the knack of being somewhere at an opportune (or inopportune – the jury’s still out) time.
