402 Miles

We were off to a later start than we anticipated but couldn’t leave Utah without stopping in Park City. A Twitter friend told us about Dolly’s Bookshop . We had to visit it! Thank you, Laura!

We are big fans of scenic vistas. They give us a chance to get out of the car, see something beautiful, take a few pictures, and get our blood flowing before the next stretch of driving.  We almost always take advantage of scenic vistas.

Whenever possible, we stop and take our picture in front of the state signs. On our first trip we did not do this in South Dakota and have often regretted that decision. We are determined not to make that mistake again.

We saw signs for Little America for miles. How could we not stop? The only problem was, while there, we forgot to replenish John’s gum supply.

Take a look at some of the books we read during Adventure Out West ’11.

We are glad we visited the Wyoming State Capitol.
