Fog + Rain + Construction + Wind + Dark + Debris + Lightning = A Memorable Ride

Our perfect day changed dramatically after we left Monroe, Louisiana, and headed toward Natchitoches, Louisiana. Our GPS decided to have fun with us and sent us on some pretty small “highways.”  To make matters worse, it was raining  and foggy. Shortly after the sun set, branches and other objects started blowing around the dimly lit road (think downed branches to drive over when you can’t see them until you are on top of them). Because that wasn’t enough, it was lightning the entire time.  Oh yeah, there was also road construction. Just a walk in the park, huh? Watch and decide for yourself.

  1. Oh my gosh! Scary! Yes, we can see the fog and lack of center line reflectors! So glad you made it to your destination safely!
